Performing Arts is back with a variety of shows/concerts/plays for the new academic year. To make sure you don’t miss any of them we’ve put together a list of everything you can see this month.
Sinfonietta
Sinfonietta’s Autumn Concert will consist of the orchestra playing the likes of Rossini L’italiana in Algeri overture, Prokofiev Classical symphony and Dvorak Czech suite.
It will be conducted by their professional conducter, Jonathan Lo.
The concert will take place on Sunday 28th October at 4pm in St Denys church.
Theatre Group
Theatre Group are taking on Shakespeare’s classic, Macbeth, from Tuesday 30th October to Saturday 3rd November – the perfect play to coincide with Halloween.
Next month, they are also performing Great Expectations – one of Dickens’ most famous books. It runs from Wednesday 14th November to Saturday 17th November.
Circus Soc, Comedy Soc & Magic Soc
A collaborative event with these societies putting on a Variety Show on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th November.
Ballroom and Latin
Southampton’s Friendly Dance Competition takes place on Saturday 10th November.
