Good news for the budding assassins of Southampton University: On the 17th and 18th October (Thursday and Friday this week), the union is playing host to the ‘Assassins Creed – Black Flag Tour’. Whilst giving the opportunity to win prizes by participating in the event, the most exciting aspect of the tour is the chance to play the latest update of the game before general release.
Not only will this give people early access to the game, the version being demoed is on the PS4, therefore giving gamers a chance to experience the feel of the new console which is scheduled for release on 29th November as well as to observe first-hand the updated graphics of the new console generation.
If interested, which many people will be, the tour will run from 10am – 6pm both days, providing ample opportunity for everyone to play the demo.
In other related news, Ubisoft announced yesterday that the release date of Assassins Creed: Black Flag has been brought forward from 1st November to 29th October for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, pleasing those who may be disappointed with the announced delay to Watch Dogs. All other versions of the game are scheduled for release on 22nd November.
