As we roll into March, War Horse is still holding its run at the Mayflower. But here’s what on offer at the other city theatres.
The Nuffield:
In the coming week, The Nuffield Theatre will be hosting the Southampton University Players in their production of The Diary of Anne Frank. In this powerful adaptation of the real life experiences of a Jewish girl during the Nazi occupation, ‘The Diary of Anne Frank captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence.’
The show will be running from 25th Feb – 1st March. Tickets are available for £12 (£10 concessions).
The Annex:
From 26th Feb – 1st March, Showstoppers will be presenting the seminal classic Guys and Dolls. Set in 1950’s New York City, the show follows a host of eccentric characters around the glitz of Times Square. Having thrilled audiences with Little Shop of Horrors earlier this semester, this is surely one not to miss.
