With the Easter holidays fast approaching, and War Horse coming to the end of its run at the Mayflower, there’s a lot to be seen in the city this week!
The Mayflower:
Taking a massive step away from War Horse, the next fixture at the Mayflower is Verdi’s La Traviata. Brought to us by the Welsh National Opera, we are promised a tear jerking experience.
Running from 18th – 22nd March, tickets range from a bargain £7.50 up to £40. For young people under 30, there are limited tickets available for only £5! These tickets must be booked in advance, ID must be shown, and a maximum of two tickets can be booked.
The Nuffield:
For one night only (Sunday 16th March), star of Stand Up for the Week Paul Chowdhry is gracing our very own Nuffield Theatre. Billed as a ‘dangerous comic genius’, this will be one not to miss.
Tickets are available for £14 (£12 concessions).
Turner Sims Concert Hall:
It is the time of year when the annual Pure Dance show returns to the Turner Sims. Brought to us by the University dance societies, it is set to blow audiences away.
Running from 21st – 23rd March, tickets are available for £10 (Students £7, PAU members £6)
