Welcome back ladies and gents! Easter has passed, spring is in the air, and exams are looming ever closer. It’s a quiet week in the city’s theatrical establishments, but be sure to check out what’s on to get away from those revision blues!
The Mayflower:
Hitting the Mayflower this coming Tuesday is the musical detailing the life and times of glam rock legend Marc Bolan. When reviewed, 20th Century Boy is said to promise ‘a glorious, colourful evening’.
Running from 6th – 10th May, tickets range from £15 – £32.
SUSU Performing Arts
On the 10th May the Jazzmanix return to the stage for their summer concert which looks set to be exciting. The website comments that Jazzmanix is ‘University of Southampton’s largest choir, and its spectacular 8 piece band, present an enthusiastic and eclectic mix of pop and gospel tunes. A concert of two halves, the evening features small vocal harmony groups followed by a vibrant performance from the choir as a whole.’
