The highly anticipated finale to the Batman Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Knight, has been reportedly delayed according to IGN News.
Originally set for release this October/November, it seems Rocksteady have had a change of heart and have pushed the game back to some time next year. Neither developer nor published gave a reason for the set-back, although it may have something to do with the fiercely competitive autumn season this year. With big titles like Destiny and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare due for release this autumn, it would be no surprise if Rocksteady wished to avoid being forgotten.
Batman: Arkham Knight is the next instalment in the highly-commended Batman Arkham series. It promised to be a return to form after the disappointment of last year’s Batman: Arkham Origins, as previous developer Rocksteady are back on the case.
