Now that you’re all (hopefully) celebrating your post-exam bliss, now is an excellent time to get into the city and absorb some fine theatre. Here’s what’s coming up in the next week.
The Mayflower:
The classic film slash stage extravaganza Dirty Dancing is returning to the Mayflower this coming week. This smash show was the fastest selling West End show in history, so make sure to get on down to the Mayflower and get your tickets.
The show is running from Tuesday 10th June – Saturday 28th June. Tickets range from £19.50 – £48.50. However, on opening only, tickets are available for £17.50 if bought between three and a half hours and an hour before the show, and can only be purchased in person.
The Nuffield:
Footlights Youth Theatre are bringing the timeless musical Oliver! to the Nuffield stage. Previous winner of the Daily Echo Curtain Call Production of the Year award, this young company are sure not to disappoint.
The show runs from 11th – 14th June. Tickets are available for £12/£11 (£10/£9 concessions).
