The air date for American Horror Story: Freak Show has been revealed along with the unveiling of an official teaser trailer.
The hit US drama-horror will air on US screens on 8th October, at 10pm, later this year.
The new series will be set in the 1950s, focusing on one of the last remaining freak shows. Some of the characters announced for the fourth instalment of the anthology series include a clown killer, a bearded lady and the world’s smallest woman.
Confirmed cast and characters were revealed late last month which reported that the likes of Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Evan Peters and Angela Bassett will be returning for Freak Show, amongst a few others. As well as this, there are some actors who are set to make their début on Ryan Murphy’s creation such as Michael Chiklis and Wes Bentley (The Hungers Games).
Freak Show follows previous series Coven, which aired late 2013. With the teaser trailer taking an extremely creepy tone, it hints that Freak Show will grasp the horror genre slightly more than its predecessor, bringing back the show’s chilling aura that Murder House became famous for.
American Horror Story: Freak Show will air on FOX in the UK sometime during October. Watch the teaser trailer below.
