The upcoming fourth series of Scott & Bailey has been given a trailer.
The ITV crime-drama, which was shot in both Oldham and Manchester, sees DC Rachel Bailey (Suranne Jones) and DC Janet Scott (Lesley Sharp) both apply for a promotion to Detective Sergeant.
Amelia Bullmore will continue to bring her wonderful performance as DCI Gill Murrary to the screen, as well as writing four of the scripts. Lee Warburton will write two episodes, and Emily Ballou will create the remaining instalments.
The new series will consist of eight episodes and is “coming soon” to ITV, with an expected airing of late September.
