Written by Eric Idle, Spamalot, (which describes itself as being “lovingly ripped off from the Monty Pythons and The Holy Grail“), is sure to be one of the funniest musicals you’ll see this year.
Running from the 7th – 11th April at the Mayflower Theatre, the audience will be roaring with laughter as they remain entertained by Joe Pasquale as King Arthur and Todd Carty as Patsy, the role in which he originated on stage both in the West End and on Tour with Spamalot! and co.
If you’ve never seen the original Monty Pythons’ film then you’re in for a treat, and if you have you’re in for an even bigger treat by all accounts! It’s time to join these Grail hunting Knights and one Prince Arthur for an adventure!
Now would be a good time to revise the lyrics to the amazing ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’, as there’s a strong possibility you’ll be singing along before you know it!
Tickets for Monty Python’s Spamalot at the Mayflower theatre can bought here.
