SUSU Theatre Group are presenting Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing as their 2015 Freshers show from 18th – 21st November.
Updating the classic play a little bit, SUSU Theatre Group’s Much Ado About Nothing is set in 1968, and follows a group of enthusiastic and rebellious university students as they arrive back in their hometown, the sleepy English village of Messina. Here, new tempestuous relationships are formed, whilst older ones reignite and despite the obstacles, love is found in the most unexpected of places. Much Ado About Nothing is anarchic and joyful, boasting a story that is both darkly tragic and hilariously funny.
