Merry Christmas one and all! No don’t worry, we know it isn’t Christmas quite yet, but on Monday it will be 100 days until the big day. After the success of the 100 Disc of Christmas strand last year, this autumn and winter the online film section of The Edge will be hosting ‘BluChristmas’ – a themed ‘100 Discs’ series featuring 100 Blu-ray discs we believe you must put on their Christmas list this year. Like last year, the series will be made up of 100 capsule reviews briefly detailing why everyone should own the film. This time the emphasis is on Blu-ray, so home entertainment addicts will relish our selection of gorgeous collector’s editions and special remastered versions! From old classics to obscure gems to the latest releases, cinema-addicts will enjoy our huge range of films (and a few TV boxsets) just as the nights start to draw in and the weather turns cold. BluChristmas starts on The Edge Online on Monday 16th September and will run until Tuesday 24th December.
