Lost Highway is not for people who like their films to have satisfying endings, and plots with clear beginnings, middles and ends that all work and serve one linear narrative. This movie, directed by David Lynch, is a weird, uneasy, dreamy film – a noir horror movie that morphs into something very bizarre as it pushes closer to its weird conclusion.
Some people may hate it, but I really like the film for its stunning visual power and its ability to mesmerise the viewer without giving them much information to piece together. It has been said that to trying to make sense of Lost Highway missing the point. Watch it and see what you think.
