It has been revealed that Kaiser Chiefs are to open Glastonbury’s Other Stage this morning (27th June) at 11am.
The band are also due to close the John Peel Stage later this evening.
On the official line-up, the opener of the stage was marked as ‘TBA’, but it was officially announced yesterday that the band, that features lead vocals from The Voice UK judge Ricky Wilson, will have the slot.
Last year’s opener of the Other Stage was Beady Eye.
Kaiser Chiefs’ appearances are in support of their most recent album Education, Education, Education & War which reached number one in the UK earlier this year.
