Comedy a capella band The Blanks, also known as “Ted’s Band”, have confirmed a show at Southampton University Students’ Union in December this year.
The Blanks, best known for featuring Sam Lloyd who played awkward lawyer Theodore “Ted” Buckland on the hit US television series Scrubs, previously performed in The Cube in November 2010, spawning one of the most popular nights at Twisted all year. The four-piece group stayed behind after the show, signing autographs and taking pictures with fans in the SUSU Café until the early hours.
The news of their return to Southampton was broken via their Twitter and Facebook pages, but has not yet been confirmed by SUSU. A Facebook event has also been created, revealing that tickets will be available from the SUSU box office for £4.
Last year’s show was extremely popular, selling out relatively quickly, and there is no reason to believe that this year will be any different.
