Katy Perry’s upcoming single, ‘Roar’ has had its first play on justjared.com. This is the first single from her fourth album, Prism, which will be released on October 22nd, 2013.
‘Roar’ is less candy coated than the singles from third album, Teenage Dream. It shows Katy going back to a more raw sound, and putting more emphasis on her vocals. You can listen to ‘Roar’ here.
Katy has currently been promoting Prism with a series of cryptic videos on her youtube channel (including her burning her blue wig from the ‘California Girls’ video), as well as sending out several huge lorries with album details on them, which she’s been encouraging her fans to tweet her pictures of.
‘Roar’ will be released September 8th.
