University of Southampton’s Students’ Union (SUSU) have begun to announce details of freshers’ events which will be happening during freshers’ fortnight, commencing on 21st September 2013.
One of the first events which has been unveiled is freshers’ rave SUB:MISSION which will feature BBC Radio One presenter Zane Lowe, alongside ‘Get Out My Head‘ producer Redlight, up-and-coming DJ Monki and the established DJ and producer Zinc. Other names on the line up include Gav Foord, Bitr8 and K1r3y.
The event which will be held in Oceana will take place halfway through freshers’ fortnight.
Tickets for the event will cost £20, although entry is free with a Master Pass; a ticket which SUSU have announced as new for this year. The £95 Master Pass will grant access to all freshers’ events, including SUB:MISSION, and Freshers’ Ball. Some of the other events which it will allow free access to include halls trips to Jesters and Sobar, screenings of The Hangover Part III and Great Gatsby at Union Films, and even a cheese and wine tasting evening.
