X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has announced that she’s going to release a free EP. The singer took to twitter to announce the news:
Exciting news! I can reveal I’m releasing a free six track EP ‘New Rules’ on August 29th…

The six song EP titled New Rules will be released for free through the Daily Mail website for 48 hours prior to it’s general release. This is Burke’s first release since parting ways with UK record label RCA in June over “differing views” concerning her third album, and her first release after signing with US management company KWL in May.
The EP will feature collaborations with artists such as Wretch 32, and has been released in a bid to raise support for the artist’s third album, which is due to be released next year.
