Rapper Kanye West has been given two years probation for assaulting a photographer at an airport last July. He was also sentenced to 24 hours of anger management and 250 hours of community service.
West was accused of punching paparazzo Daniel Ramos, and grabbing his camera in an unprovoked attack last July. West has maintained his innocence, but the incident has been caught on camera which lead to a tough trial for the rapper. He will be required back in court on the 17th of July for a progress update and restitution hearing.
Daniel Ramos has said “I was doing my job and he broke the law….If I did what he did to me, I’d be behind bars.” Ramos has claimed that he still takes medication for his injuries caused by the incident.
