After teasing fans via their official Facebook page this morning with hopes of another gig, The Libertines have confirmed that they will be performing at Benicàssim festival in Spain this July.
The Libertines will be headlining the Saturday night (19th July) of the festival which takes place 17th July to 20th July on the east coast of Spain.
The band will join the likes of Kasabian, Lily Allen, Jake Bugg and Paul Weller who have already been confirmed for the Spanish music festival.
Their appearance at Benicàssim will mark their second reunion show. They will be reuniting at this year’s British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park, London, on 5th July, alongside Black Sabbath, Arcade Fire and more. It will be the band’s first live performance since Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2010.
