Fleetwood Mac have been announced as the first headline act of The Isle of Wight Festival 2015.
The iconic US band, who have recently released a string of UK tour dates for the coming year, will perform on the Main Stage on Sunday 14th June. Isle of Wight will be their only festival appearance having signed an exclusive worldwide deal to headline the annual music event.
Confirming the news the band have said, “We’ve always wanted to to come to the UK to play The Isle of Wight Festival, and so we are delighted that in 2015, we are finally making it happen!”
The festival will take place over the weekend 11-14th June at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight, with O2 priority tickets going on sale 3rd December at 9AM. General tickets will be available to purchase two days later (5th December).
In 2014 The Isle of Wight Festival was headlined by Biffy Clyro, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Kings Of Leon.
