Former My Chemical Romance guitarist, Frank Iero, has released details about his debut UK headline tour in April.
After releasing his debut album Stomachaches last year which received rave reviews from the UK rock press, Iero finished off 2014 with a bang playing his first UK headline show at a sold out Barfly Club in Camden, doing two packed ‘in-store’ shows at Banquet Records in Kingston and recording a session with BBC Radio 1’s rock expert Daniel P. Carter.
The former Black Parade star says that he cannot wait to get back on the road:
“I’m really looking forward to taking this full record to the UK in April. When making Stomachaches I really wanted you to feel like you were listening in on the songs as opposed to listening to them. And I believe the intimacy of venues we’ve chosen for this headline run will support that idea.”
The nine-date tour will start in Manchester at the Deaf Instituteon on the 16th April, before winding down on the 29th April at the Wedgwood Rooms in Portsmouth. Travelling with his band, Frnkiero andthe Cellabration will be bringing to the UK the show that Kerrang! Magazine awarded a KKKK review.
Tickets are now on sale and are available here for £13.75.
