The Edge‘s weekly TV round-up is back and this week we have the return of several huge shows. Our favourite historical drama Mr Selfridge is back this Sunday and thankfully we have a wedding to look forward to. Later on in the week we have the return of Black Sails, Golden Globe-nominated The Good Wife and a show with a huge cult following, Grimm.

The Jonathan Ross Show: The host welcomes another line-up of celebrity guests to his famous green room before subjecting them to a no-holds-barred bout of questioning. Tonight, Oscar-winner Colin Firth and up-and-coming actor Taron Egerton talk about their roles in new spy comedy Kingsman: The Secret Service, and Take That discuss their future as a trio, before performing in the studio. Also on the sofa are much-loved actress Caroline Quentin and comedian Katherine Ryan, who regularly pops up on some of the nation’s favourite panel shows. Tune in this Saturday on ITV at 9:20pm.

Top Gear: Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are in Russia as the motoring magazine returns, taking part in a race across the urban landscape of St Petersburg. James defends the honour of the car in a very small Renault, Richard tries to prove that pedalling is faster by riding a bicycle, while Jeremy attempts to demonstrate that water is the quickest way across town by piloting a hovercraft. To make matters more complicated, all three presenters are racing not only one another but also the Stig, who is making his way toward the finish line by public transport. Plus, the new Lamborghini Huracan is put through its paces and singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran takes to the test track in the Reasonably Priced Car. Tune in this Sunday on BBC Two at 8pm.

Mr Selfridge: Return of the drama based on the life of retail magnate Harry Gordon Selfridge, played by Jeremy Piven. It’s 1918 and as the family gathers at Rose’s funeral, a grief-stricken Harry wonders how he will ever get by without his beloved wife. However, nine months later and the Selfridges are in high spirits; Rosalie is marrying renowned Russian aviator Serge De Bolotoff. At the forefront of the lavish wedding is Russian emigre Princess Marie (Zoe Wanamaker), the glamorous mother of the groom, but what is she hiding? Agnes is overjoyed to be reunited with Henri, who has recently returned from the war. Kara and Hannah Tointon take over the roles of sisters Rosalie and Violette Selfridge for this third series. Watch this Sunday on ITV at 9pm.

Black Sails: Season two will begin where we left off. The Walrus crew is stranded, with an army of Spanish soldiers standing between them and the precious Urca gold. And with their crimes against their brethren no longer a secret, Flint (Stephens) and Silver (Luke Arnold) must join forces in a desperate bid for survival. Tune in this Sunday on Amazon Prime Instant Video.

Grimm - Season 3Midsomer Murders: Return of the long-running mystery drama, starring Neil Dudgeon and Gwilym Lee. At the Luxton Deeping Crime Festival, the unveiling of a newly discovered novel by deceased Midsomer crime writer George Summersbee is jeopardised when the manuscript is stolen and local artist Suzie Colebrooke is electrocuted by a booby-trapped roulette wheel. Can new father Barnaby untangle a web of jealousy and obsession to find the killer? Tune in this Wednesday on ITV at 8pm.

Grimm: Renard is rushed to hospital after being shot. Nick is forced to rely on Trubel to help him track down a new creature after losing his powers. It seems nothing is quite the same in this new series of Grimm. Watch this Wednesday at 9pm on Watch.

2 Broke Girls: The return of the comedy charting an unlikely friendship between two New York women, beginning as Max and Caroline are approached by a TV producer who would like to shoot scenes from an upcoming episode of a popular reality show in front of the serving window of their cupcake business. Tune in this Thursday on E4 at 8:30pm.

The Good Wife: The legal drama returns as Alicia remains adamant in her refusal to run for the position of State’s Attorney despite Eli’s attempts to persuade her otherwise. Meanwhile, Diane considers joining Florrick/Agos as a partner, but a sudden crisis threatens to destroy the firm. Catch it this Thursday on More4 at 9pm.
