Welsh sextet The Blackout will return to this year’s Takedown Festival one last time, after previously headlining the event in 2013. This will be The Blackout’s last ever festival appearance, as the band announced their split last December. Following Takedown, The Blackout will head out on a five-date farewell tour.
Also joining this year’s Takedown lineup are Leeds rockers Hawk Eyes, and melodic hardcore quintet Blood Youth (formerly Climates). Elsewhere, alternative magician Dee Christopher will be appearing on The Obsidian Stage with Fearless Vampire Killers. After being selected as the winners of the YOUR BAND HERE contest, London electro rockers More Than Most will also play at this year’s Takedown on the Southampton Music Stage.
Following the main event, Takedown will host the renowned Uprawr aftershow party in The Cube in the Student’s Union.
Tickets for Takedown Festival 2015 are priced at £40, or £44 with entry to Uprawr, and are available here.
