After being assaulted with various different Fifty Shades of Grey trailers and an early release of Ellie Goulding’s ‘Love Like You Do’, taken from the film’s soundtrack, it seems the team at Warner Brothers aren’t done yet and today have released the first full length scene from the upcoming adaptation of E. L. James’ 2011 novel Fifty Shades of Grey.
The scene will be a familiar one to fans of the novel and is often entitled ‘the hardware store scene’. To break it down: Christian Grey visits Anastasia Steele at Clayton’s hardware store, her current place of work and proceeds to buy various items such as cable ties, masking tape and rope all of course which we attribute to his kinky lifestyle.
Directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, the release has been highly-anticipated and teased, though this particular video allows a brief glimpse as to how the popular text has been handled.
It was also recently announced that the film has been given an 18 certificate for its upcoming UK release.
Fifty Shades of Grey will be available to catch in UK cinemas from 14th February 2015.
