2015’s Grammys proved a spectacular night, particularly for British talent, where last year’s winner of the Brit Critics’ Choice Award, Sam Smith, picked up an astonishing four Grammy Awards in the first ceremony that he had ever been up for nomination. Elsewhere, Beck won Album Of The Year with Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s collborative effort, ‘Drunk in Love’, winning both Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance. Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett also won for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, with their jazz LP Cheek to Cheek, which hit number one in the US upon its release, making it the sixth Grammy won by Gaga.
