Singer-songwriter Lucy Rose has revealed that her next album Work It Out will be released this summer.
The record acts as the follow-up to 2012 debut Like I Used To which featured singles ‘Bikes’, and ‘Shiver’ which closed the latest episode of comedy show Girls.
Speaking to John Kennedy on XFM last night (5th March), Rose let the title slip as well as its release date, 13th July of this year. About the upcoming record she commented, “It’s hugely different. It’s nice different in ways because this time we went into a recording studio, instead of being in my parents’ living room trying to make a record”.
Rose will be premiering new material at her UK tour which begins 9th March in Tunbridge Wells and ends at Southampton’s Engine Rooms at the end of the month.
She recently shared new song ‘Our Eyes’ which was premiered by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1. The single comes out 26th April.
