A new Game of Thrones trailer has been revealed.
War is on the horizon in the clip, as the likes of Daenerys Targaryen and Stannis Baratheon stake their claim to Westeros.
Lord Varys speaks about the power struggle to come in the trailer, saying: “The seven kingdoms need someone strong; a ruler loved by millions with a powerful army and the right family name.”
Game of Thrones show runners David Benioff and Dan Weiss recently said that they have a clear vision of how the show is going to end, adding that the drama could run for ten years, though currently HBO are only committed to six series.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 12 at 9pm ET as part of a global simulcast. Sky Atlantic in the UK will air the episode one day later.
