One of the South’s biggest festival is hitting Lulworth Castle in Dorset again this July and the line up-is looking better than ever with newly announced acts, Ella Henderson and the Grammy award-winning Clean Bandit.
Other stand-out acts for this year are The Kaiser Chiefs, Professor Green and Ella Eyre.
If you’re not into the mainstream acts that have been announced then there are some 80’s classic singers, including Soul 2 Soul and a few local folk bands.
The comedy line-up also appears attractive with The X Factor’s Matt Richardson and Marcus Brigstoke who are sure to bring a laughs throughout the weekend.
If none of that tickles your fancy, then Camp Bestival is renowned for its fantastic live theatre. This year The Cat in the Hat Live is performing and Mr Tumble. As well as this, Romeo and Juliet: Retold is playing, which is a modern remake of Shakespeare’s classic which Debs Newbold has recreated for the festival, a play that was adapted back in February by SUSU Theatre Group at the Nuffield.
Student weekend camping tickets can be bought at £180. There is a weekly payment plan option at £15 a week too if your loan’s running a bit dry. Day tickets are available which are usually released nearer to the event but at the moment only weekend/camping tickets can be bought.
