Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne says that the band will make one last album and go on tour in 2016.
Despite it being said that the album would likely be produced “sooner rather than later,” Osbourne has advised fans to hang fire until next year.
“We all live in different countries and some of them want to work and some of them don’t want to, I believe,” he said. “But we are going to do another tour together.”
It might be best to take this news with a pinch of salt, as plans “could change.”
Osbourne was forced to cancel the Mexican leg of his own festival, Ozzfest, due to a need for “unspecified” surgery.
Speaking to Metal Hammer before the album was re-scheduled, Osbourne said that, “obviously a lot of it is coming down to Tony’s health, he’s obviously got his cancer treatment […] I don’t know if we’ll be writing in England or LA, but I’ll fly to the fucking moon for it if I have to!”
Black Sabbath’s final show was expected to be scheduled at Ozzfest in Japan this November. However, the billing stated it would be an Osbourne solo show only.
