On Monday (25th May) it was announced via show creator Ryan Murphy, that Max Greenfield will be checking into American Horror Story: Hotel.
Murphy revealed that the New Girl scene stealer will be “like you’ve never seen him before”. It is not yet clear how many episodes Greenfield will appear in, but Murphy’s ominous tweet hints at an unfortunate end for Greenfield’s unknown character.

Greenfield joins previously announced Hotel guests including Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Chloe Sevigny, Kathy Bates, Wes Bentley, and Cheyenne Jackson.
American Horror Story: Hotel will be returning to screens in October 2015.
