Lucy Rose has unveiled a new video for the latest single to spring from her sophomore album, Work It Out.
‘Like An Arrow’ was first premiered to Radio 1 listeners as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record in the World’ on 12th May. It has since been deemed today’s ‘Track of the Day’.
The singer detailed that this video – which features her running freely through the wilderness – is “the first video [she’s] ever needed training for.” She expressed that she “wanted to make this video for so so long, film it in one take and challenge [herself] mentally and physically like never before.”
The video concludes with Lucy Rose wrapped up warm in a fluffy dressing gown, having previously plunged herself from a cliff into a body of water. Rose additionally commented on the feeling of freedom and escapism in the piece, which is evident upon watching the video.
Lucy Rose’s second album, Work It Out, will be released on 6th July this year.
