Madonna has returned to reclaim her crown as Queen of Pop. Following the release of Taylor Swift’s star studded ‘Bad Blood’ music video, Madonna has released her own to show the young star how it’s done.
While Swift’s video exhibited young stars like Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding and Gigi Hadid, the 56 year old’s video went one better and includes huge stars like Chris Rock, Rita Ora, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry and even Kanye and Beyoncé. And that’s just to name a few.
The video – directed by Jonas Åkerlund – was premiered as an exclusive on Tidal for 24 hours, but is now available to the rest of us on Vevo.
However, for those quick to accuse Madonna of copying Swift’s tactic by getting all of her famous friends to star in the video, it should be noted that the clip was actually filmed weeks before the ‘Bad Blood’ video premiered online. Madonna managed to round up her friends while they were all in New York City for the Met Gala Ball at the beginning of May.
‘Bitch I’m Madonna’ is the third single to be lifted from the star’s latest album Rebel Heart. It serves as the follow-up to previous releases ‘Living For Love’ and ‘Ghosttown’.
