Californian metal band, Slayer have revealed the album artwork for their new record, Repentless.
It is the band’s first album in six years, following on from their 2009 record, World Painted Blood. The album is available to pre-order now and will be released on 11th September via Nuclear Blast Records. The title-track of the LP is also available as an instant download.

Guitarist Kerry King said of their new record: “Repentless is my Jeff [Hanneman] tribute, I call it the HannemAnthem. It’s my perspective of Jeff’s perspective, it’s what I think… If Jeff wrote a song for himself, Repentless would be it.”
Former guitarist Hanneman died of liver failure back in 2013, in a Southern California hospital near his home. The official cause of his death was announced as alcohol-related cirrhosis.
Terry Date produced Repentless, and it is Slayer’s first album since their drummer Paul Bostaph returned to the band.
