A new one-minute promo for Caitlyn Jenner’s new docu-series I Am Cait, was released on Friday night (26th June).
The upcoming E! series follows the Keeping Up With the Kardashians special ‘About Bruce’ episode, which introduced the world to the idea of Jenner transitioning into a woman and the effect the change would have on both sides of her family.
Jenner made her first public appearance as a woman on the cover of Vanity Fair last month.
I Am Cait will follow Jenner’s new life in the wake of her transition from male to female. In the new trailer, Jenner says “Why did I decided to do a series? I’m telling my story. People don’t understand looking into the mirror and nothing seems right”.
The clip sees Jenner warmly embrace her friends and daughter Kylie Jenner, while going about her daily life. Jenner continues: “This is about getting to be who you really are. We’re gonna talk about everything. We’re gonna do a lot of fun things for the first time. We’re gonna go shopping for the first time. Maybe even some boy stuff, like ride a motorcycle, because girls do that too”.
Throughout the teaser trailer, several different glimpses of Jenner’s life can be seen. From the sight of the reality star doing her own flawless make up to her choosing of clothes and riding the aforementioned motorcycles.
In true Keeping Up With the Kardashians style, the former Olympian speaks directly to the camera giving context to the clips aired. The clip also sees Jenner walking around her Malibu balcony in a beautiful dress.
