Rihanna has revealed the full video for her single ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’, which was initially debuted back in March. A trailer for the video was shown at the BET Awards over the weekend in preparation for it’s launch today.
Kanye West worked on the track with Rihanna, whilst the likes of WonderGurl, Travis Scott and Deputy helped in the production of it.
The thriller-style video shows the 27-year old appearing alongside guest stars Eric Roberts and Hannibal’s Mads Mikkelsen. We see Rihanna torturing a woman after kidnapping her, setting her car on fire and avoiding the police. The ‘Umbrella’ star co-directed the seven minute mini-movie alongside Megaforce.
On Instagram, she said that the idea came to her last year: “The concept for this piece came to me 8 months ago!!! So you can imagine how anxious I am right now!!!”
The video also arrives a day after the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) revealed that Rihanna has bettered 100 million Gold and Platinum song certifications. According to a press release by RIAA, it moves the singer to the top spot of their list for artists with the most digital single awards. It also makes her the first artist to surpass RIAA’s 100 million cumulative singles award threshold.
