Disclosure have unveiled the accompanying visual for their latest collaboration with Sam Smith.
The track, entitled ‘Omen’ is set to feature on the duo’s upcoming album, Caracal – alongside previously released tracks, ‘Holding On’ and ‘Moving Mountains’.
The music video is the second part in a series of visuals directed by Ryan Hope for various tracks from the album. Continuing with the narrative set up in the ‘Holding On’ video, the visual follows a rebel named Mariella as she travels through a dystopian sci-fi landscape.
The electronic duo previously teamed up with Smith for their breakthrough hit ‘Latch’. The song peaked at Number 11 on the UK’s Official Singles Chart in late 2012 and climbed to Number 7 in the US over 18 months later.
Disclosure have promised that there will be some “big names” on the upcoming album – one of which will be New Zealand’s latest musical marvel, Lorde. Caracal is the duo’s second album, following on from their 2013 debut, Settle – which went straight to Number One in the UK and was later nominated for the 2013 Mercury Prize.
Caracal is set to be released on 25th September. Watch the video below.
