Colin Farrell is the latest star to join the cast of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Irish actor is set to appear in a supporting role, playing a mysterious wizard named Graves.
The film, which has been scripted by Harry Potter novelist J.K. Rowling, will further explore the Wizarding World through the inquisitive eyes of Newt Scamander – the acclaimed magizoologist and author of the titular Fantastic Beasts guide. Scamander will be played by Oscar-winning actor, Eddie Redmayne.
The cast also includes the likes of Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler and Alison Sudol. A worldwide talent search is currently underway for a young actress to play the role of a powerful little girl in the film.
Directed by Potter veteran David Yates, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is set to be released in the UK on 18th November 2016.
Meanwhile, Farrell is currently appearing in the second season of True Detective and is also set to star alongside Sir Anthony Hopkins in the upcoming psychic thriller, Solace – which will arrive in cinemas on 25th September.
