The storyline of Toy Story 4 was revealed earlier today (14th August) via Good Morning America‘s Twitter account.
The film will follow the romance of Woody (Tom Hanks) and Bo Peep, exploring the consistently inactive character of Bo Peep in more detail. It is as yet unclear whether Annie Potts, who voiced the character in the original 1995 animation, will return for this latest film.
Whilst not a direct sequel, many were confused as to why Pixar and Disney made the decision to put another Toy Story in theatres when Toy Story 3 brought the beloved franchise to an almost-perfect close.
More details are likely to be revealed about the upcoming film during Pixar’s presentation at the D23 Expo.
