20th Century Fox have released the first official trailer for their upcoming horror-adventure, Victor Frankenstein.
In this latest cinematic adaptation of Mary Shelley’s iconic novel, James McAvoy stars as the eponymous doctor, who with his ambitious and radical way of thinking, attempts to find the key to immortality. However, as his experiments become more and more disturbing, Frankenstein’s once noble quest turns into a monstrous obsession that ends with horrific consequences.
The film also acts as the origin story for Frankenstein’s famed assistant/protége, Igor Strausman (Daniel Radcliffe), who offers his own perspective of this legendary tale.
Written by Max Landis (Chronicle) and directed by Paul McGuigan, the film also stars the likes of Jessica Brown-Findlay, Andrew Scott, Freddie Fox, Mark Gatiss and Louise Brealey.
Victor Frankenstein is set to hit UK cinemas on 4th December. Watch the trailer below.
