Taylor Swift is no stranger to inviting surprise guests to join her on stage at her live shows. But her performance in LA last night (Wednesday 26th August) may have provided the best line-up yet.
Chief among the surprise guests was Friends’ star, Lisa Kudrow – who played the role of Phoebe Buffay in the classic US sitcom. Kudrow was in character when she joined Swift onstage to sing a short, but brilliant rendition of ‘Smelly Cat’ – the most iconic tune from Phoebe’s eclectic catalogue. Kudrow’s appearance comes days after her Friends co-star, Matt Le Blanc, joined Swift at a previous show.
The likes of Justin Timberlake and Selena Gomez also accompanied Swift on Wednesday for two very special live performances. Timberlake performed his 2013 hit, ‘Mirrors’, while Gomez sang a rendition of her latest single, ‘Good For You’.
The show marked the end of Swift’s five-night residency at the LA Staples’ Center, which saw her become the most sold-out artist to play at the 20,000-seat arena.
