Pixar has released a new trailer for their latest film, The Good Dinosaur, featuring the vocal talents of Frances McDormand, Anna Paquin and Jeffrey Wright.
The trailer features an adorable green Apatosaurs named Arlo, who gets swept away from his mother in a terrifying flash flood. As he attempts to get back home, Arlo befriends a little lost boy called Spot.
The trailer highlights experiences of abandonment and loss, as well as themes of friendship and fun – and all to a stunning piano-based musical score. The visual also displays a number of stunning sequences of landscapes and asteroids, synonymous with the Pixar aesthetic.
The Good Dinosaur has suffered a number of delays due to several behind-the-scenes set backs, including the replacement of Up director Bob Peterson with first time feature director Peter Sohn, as well as the recasting of voice actors and creating a new storyline.
The Good Dinosaur will open on 27th November in the UK. Watch the latest trailer below.
