The Foo Fighters fan group, Rockin ‘1000 – who previously teamed up last July to perform ‘Learn To Fly’, in an aid to get the band to play in Cesena, Italy – have released a new cover version.
Their initial plan to appeal to the band succeeded when the video went viral, and eventually found its way to Dave Grohl. As promised, the band played a gig in Cesena in November of last year. The band also invited the organizers of the group onstage.
Now for the second time, Rockin ‘1000 asked musicians from all over the world to record themselves singing and playing the recent Foo Fighters track ‘Saint Cecilia’ – the title track of their EP of the same name released last November.
