The Ellen DeGeneres Show has finally found a UK home following a campaign led by the eponymous talk show host.
The show is one of the highest-rated chat shows in the United States and is set to begin broadcasting in the UK on ITV2 from Monday 18th January 2016.
The news was announced on DeGeneres’ twitter account, as the presenter happily stated: “We got Elley on the Telly! After what feels like decades of campaigning I’m so excited that my show is on ITV2. I can feel my crumpets tingling down in my cockles.”
The chatshow, which is famous for it’s exclusive giveaways, showbiz guests and hilarious games will air every weekday at 1:45pm on ITV2. Last week, the show was renewed to run on NBC until 2020, which will mark 17 years of the show on air.
