Starting off with a classic joke – “Nothing attracts like the scent of number 2” – it’s quite easy to see that the Zoolander sequel will be incorporating all of the low humour that it did before, alongside it’s wider jokes.
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson star in what is essentially a laughable, so-bad-it’s-good perfume ad that is still not as weird and cheesy as some of the real ones out there today. Does anybody in marketing realise we don’t buy them because of their adverts? They’re just weird. And as if Stiller and Wilson weren’t enough, the hilarious new trailer also features Naomi Campbell pouring milk all over herself.
The trailer even has some “sexy fighting” and Will Ferrell just being his delightfully zany self. As we discovered in the last trailer, the sequel will see our favourite comedy duo confronted by a case in which beautiful people are dying all over the world. Their final face pose..? Blue Steel, of course. Beautiful cameo corpses are revealed to be none other than the likes of Demi Lovato, Usher, Lenny Kravitz, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber.
Zoolander 2 comes out in the UK on 12th February, so we won’t have much longer to wait. In the meantime, you can rewatch the trailers and check out Derek Zoolander’s cameo in the new fiat ad.
