The Isle of Wight Festival has added a small roster of new acts to it’s 2016 line-up, including rock giants Status Quo and The Cribs.
Status Quo will be performing classic hits such as ‘Whatever You Want’ and ‘Down Down’ in a special performance that will mark one of the last opportunities to see the band in their full set up, following their recent announcement that they will be hanging up their electric guitars for good next year.
Other newly announced performers include rock’n’roll duo The Kills, Britpop group Ocean Colour Scene and festival favourites, Mike + The Mechanics.
The festival has already gathered an impressive line-up, with confirmed headline performances from Queen and Adam Lambert, Stereophonics and Faithless. Other acts that have been previously announced to play sets at the music event include Busted, Jess Glynne, Iggy Pop, Adam Ant, Twin Atlantic, Sigma and The Corrs.
The Isle of Wight festival will take place from 9th-12th June 2016. For ticket details and more information, visit the IOW Festival website.
