Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley are back as Edina and Patsy in the first teaser trailer for Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
Taking a satirical spin on common travel adverts, the 55 second clip sees our two favourite “sweetie darlings” on a yacht, enjoying some cool, refreshing cocktails with a couple of hunky looking guys.
The film itself will follow the notorious pair as they flee to the French Riviera, after causing a major incident at a fashionable launch party.
True to the original television series, Julia Sawalha will also be returning as Edina’s long suffering daughter Saffy, alongside June Whitfield as Mother, Jane Horrocks as Bubbles and Kathy Burke as Patsy’s editor, Magda.
Also featuring a range of cameos from the likes of Chris Colfer, Kelly Hoppen and Kate Moss, the film has already caused minor controversy after it was revealed that Jeanette “Wee Jimmy Krankie” Tough would be playing Japanese fashion designer called Huki Muk.
Directed by Mandie Fletcher, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie is set to hit UK cinemas on 1st July 2016. Watch the teaser below.
