SHY FX, Rationale, Billie Marten and Loyle Carter have confirmed their places on the Blissfields 2016 line-up this week as the festival’s organisers revealed a second wave of acts.
They’ll also be joined by singer songwriter Frances, who has been nominated for the Critics Choice Award at this year’s Brits.
Billie Marten, who featured on the BBC’s Sound of 2016 list, will also be playing at the family-friendly Hampshire festival. Marten has earned critical acclaim from Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens, who says: “Her up close and personal lyrics coupled with an ear for an intimate sound is utterly captivating.” The sixteen year old will be playing at The Manor on the Friday.
Located in the Hampshire country side, the festival takes place from the 1st-2nd of July this year. The theme for this year’s festival is ‘House Party’. Along with the line-up announcements, two new areas were also revealed, including a full sized dollhouse for revellers to explore and an actual Blissfields beach.
Dizzee Rascal and Everything Everything have previously been announced as the headliners of the festival.
