Yet more acts have been unveiled for Bestival this morning, in an announcement encompassing genres from all across the musical scale.
Speaking of the new additions to the line-up, curator Rob da Bank said: “I love booking Bestival. It’s proper ‘kid in a sweetshop’ time when I look at all the acts out there and try to curate a line-up that makes sense across many genres… which is how I think Bestivalites like it.”
Among the latest additions for this year’s futuristic festival are the delicate voices of Billie Marten, Frances and Izzy Bizu, the latter being responsible for ‘White Tiger’ – a.k.a the song that’s been stuck in my head since it’s release last year
Disc jockey extraordinaires Artwork and Oneman will also perform back to back with My Nu Leng, as well as Mele and Monki’s NRG Flash, meaning crowds will be kept moving to tunes all weekend.
The Cuban Brothers, Mr Motivator and last year’s X-Factor finalists, Reggie N Bollie will also be on hand to keep audiences leaping around with upbeat, sunshine-y songs.
Addressing the vast array of musical acts, Rob da Bank said “It’s not just booked for you, it’s for me too, so I cannot wait for a weekend encompassing Kano, Goldie, Mura Masa, Evian Christ and Reggie and Bollie. If you fancy it too, I’ll see you on the ferry!”
Bestival takes place from 8th-11th September. Tickets are available to buy here, with cheaper student options and payment plans available.
