Forget Batman vs. Superman – Sony have released the first official teaser trailer for The Lego Batman Movie!
Having won the hearts of adults and children alike in 2014’s The Lego Movie, the Dark Knight has received his own solo stop-motion outing.
Voiced once again by Will Arnett, the Caped Crusader introduces the teaser with a “slick flow” of beatboxing and”dope tracks” before dropping the mic and giving us a glimpse at the upcoming movie. In the teaser, we can see Batman chilling out after another day of saving the city; treating himself to a Lobster Thermidor that Alfred left him in the fridge.
The film, which is directed by Chris McKay, will also feature the vocal talents of Michael Cera (as Robin), Rosario Dawson (as Batgirl), Ralph Fiennes (as Alfred), Zach Galifanakis (as The Joker) and Mariah Carey (as Gotham’s Mayor, Marion Grange).
The Lego Batman Movie is set to hit UK cinemas on 10th February 2017. Watch the teaser trailer below.
